Architectural Technology is a relatively new discipline in Malaysia. The practice of Architectural Technology is underpinned by the application of science, engineering and technology and is closely aligned to industry. MAHSA University will be the pioneer University in Malaysia with the privilege to offer the programme “Bachelor of Architectural Technology” embedded with Building Information Technology (BIM) and Green Technology.; Industry is now recognising the value of the discipline of Architectural Technology as critical in the digital age given its focus on empirically-based digitalisation of design and construction through Building Information Modelling related to production, performance, environmental sustainability, economic efficiency and effectiveness.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects at STPM level
  • pass in Visual Arts at SPM level or pass in Portfolio Assessment/Evaluation
  • and pass in the MAHSA University Selection Interview.

  • Minimum of Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects at A Level
  • pass in Visual Arts at SPM/O Level or pass in Portfolio Assessment/Evaluation
  • and pass in the MAHSA University Selection Interview.

  • For senior middle three (SM3) only
  • Minimum 3 credits (3Bs) including Mathematics, English and (3) other subjects
  • Pass visual arts at SPM/ O Level
  • Pass portfolio assessment / Evaluation
  • Pass on University MAHSA selection interview

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.67 in Matriculation in a related field, with pass in Visual Arts at SPM/O-Level or pass in Portfolio Assessment/Evaluation, and pass in the MAHSA University Selection Interview.

  • Successful completion of Foundation in a related field with minimum CGPA of 2.67, including pass in Visual Arts at SPM/O-Level or pass in Portfolio Assessment/Evaluation, and pass in the MAHSA University Selection Interview.

  • Successful completion of a Diploma or equivalent in a related area (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.67, including a pass in Visual Arts at SPM/O-Level or pass in Portfolio Assessment/Evaluation
