The Bachelor of Biotechnology with Entrepreneurship programme is designed to equip students with comprehensive scientific knowledge and entrepreneurial skills for diverse applications within the biotechnology industry. By integrating biotechnology expertise with entrepreneurship, the programme prepares graduates to innovate, lead, and manage biotechnology ventures effectively. The programme addresses industry demands by developing graduates with both scientific competencies and business capabilities, enabling them to explore opportunities in biotech research, product development, business management, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Students are also equipped with knowledge of the biotechnology start-up ecosystem, including funding strategies, regulatory requirements, and market entry approaches to support successful venture development. Aligned with Malaysia’s National Biotechnology Policy and Industrial Revolution 4.0 initiatives, the programme prepares graduates to contribute to the growth of the bioeconomy and the advancement of the biotechnology sector

Minimum Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects
and credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 other subject at SPM or equivalent
Minimum Grade Jayyid or its equivalent
and credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 other subject at SPM or equivalent

Pass with Grade B in 5 subjects

Minimum CGPA of 2.00
and credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 other subject at SPM or equivalent

Minimum CGPA of 2.00

Successful completion of Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
