The Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) programme is designed to prepare students for professional careers in the accounting field by providing them with a comprehensive foundation in accounting knowledge, principles, and practices. It equips students with the technical expertise and analytical skills required to meet the demands of the accounting profession. Entry Requirement

  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in two (2) subjects
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid

  • Matriculation/Foundation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent. Candidates with only a pass in Mathematics at SPM level are required to take and pass a Reinforcement Mathematics subject equivalent to SPM level. The subject must be completed during the first semester or before enrolment under an unconditional offer

  • A Diploma (MQF Level 4) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
  • A Diploma (MQF Level 4) in Accounting or an equivalent qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with a CGPA between 2.00 and 2.49 may be admitted subject to a rigorous assessment
  • A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) or Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Accounting with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to the approval of the HEP Senate/Academic Board
  • A Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Accounting with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to the approval of the HEP Senate/Academic Board
  • An Advanced Diploma (MQF Level 5) in Accounting or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.52

  • International Students: IELTS Band 5.7

  • Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government. Candidates may be admitted if their admission qualifications include Mathematics and English equivalent to SPM level. If not, Reinforcement Mathematics and Reinforcement English subjects equivalent to SPM level must be completed during the first semester or before enrolment under an unconditional offer
