The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration programme is a research-focused doctorate designed to develop advanced knowledge and research expertise in business administration. Entry Requirement

  • Candidates with an excellent Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) may be admitted directly into the Doctoral Degree by Research (MQF Level 8) programme, subject to the following conditions: Hold a First Class Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification, Have obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.67 or its equivalent from an academic or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme, Be evaluated through a rigorous internal assessment by the HEP, Be approved by the HEP Senate and accepted into the Doctoral Degree (MQF Level 8) programme, Demonstrate satisfactory academic progress throughout the candidature period

  • A Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) in Business or a related field, recognised by the HEP Senate
  • A Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) in a non-related field, as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to relevant working experience and a rigorous internal assessment
  • A Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) in a non-related field, as accepted by the HEP Senate, without relevant working experience, subject to passing the required pre-requisite courses

  • International Students: IELTS Band 5.0 or TOEFL iBT 61

  • Other relevant and equivalent qualifications to a Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) recognised by the Malaysian Government
