Entry Requirement

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in Computing or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP Senate
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in Computing or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below 2.50, subject to a rigorous internal assessment by the HEP Senate
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in a non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, subject to a rigorous internal assessment to determine the appropriate pre-requisite courses based on the candidate’s relevant working experience in Computing or a related field
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in a non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, subject to completing the required pre-requisite courses

  • International Students: Achieve a minimum of Band 4 in MUET or equivalent to CEFR (Low B2)

  • Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in Computing or a related field, recognised by the Malaysian Government, subject to completing the required pre-requisite courses as determined by the HEP
  • Candidates without a qualification in a related field or without relevant working experience may be admitted if they have a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and at least five (5) years of relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment and completion of the required pre-requisite courses as determined by the HEP
  • Any other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
